Ciel Phantomhive Official Art Ciel Phantomhive Red Robin Hood

There are not near enough reference pictures of this gorgeous outfit. It appears for only a few seconds (or panels) in the funeral chapter/episode. Definitely worth cosplaying, withal!

The anime pattern is about identical to the manga design, only has streamlined a few details for ease of animation too as inverse some light/night tones for contrast. Always click for larger images – they're all quite high quality!

The cape looks like it's actually hooded. It doesn't actually spike, though, but lies over his shoulders. It's very large and doubles every bit a coating. The torso is a purpley burgundy wine and the edge and hood are a thick off-white fur. (The hood is fabricated completely out of the fur) When worn, it looks like information technology reaches the floor like a train.

The jacket is well-fitted. It'south a dark navy, trimmed in blackness along the bottom edges. Worn with the Funeral Outfit for sure; have seen it with other stuff in the manga as well as other variants of this cloak.

I've dubbed this cloak his dracula cloak because of the collar. The collar goes upwards and out – not 100% traditional Dracula but definitely evoking the image. It's sort of pointy at the ends of the neckband equally well, adding to the look.

Similarly to an Inverness coat, information technology has an extra layer over the shoulders.

The glaze is well-tailored to fit him. Co-ordinate to this concept art (left) from season 2, it's made of eight panels. There are two on each side of the forepart. The back is split into height and bottom. One panel on top, with darts going downward to the waist for a tailored back; and then three on the bottom (1 on each side of the back slit).

The concept art shows a slit in the back of the coat. However, information technology'south clear in the Madame Red funeral scene in both anime and manga that in that location are two pleats in the back of the glaze, non one primal slit. Both are valid options.

The tie is evidently black. Realistically information technology should have a good woven texture but none is shown.

The shorts match the glaze in colour. They're a bit above the knee – they look more childish than many of his others – and have a neat pressed line down the center front and back.

The shoes are obviously but elegant. The natural language sticks up higher than the residuum of the shoe, separating from it. There is a pocket-sized heel and a buckle in front. The buckle appears to be for decor only – the anime shows the strap through information technology to be plainly and likely to be leather; but the manga shows it as a crinkly sash. Either way, it's black. There'south a niggling loop on either side likewise that keeps the sash from going anywhere in the manga.

Note: I'm having problem seeing the exact colour of the earrings he wears but instead of his typical earrings I think they're black instead of blue. Could be wrong. Here is a link for his other common accessories.

We're first introduced to Ciel in this outfit in Episode ane, and information technology turns out to be 1 of his favourites as it reappears frequently. Too as one of his nigh iconic outfits, information technology was featured in the first Kuroshitsuji musical –  That Butler, Friendship.

Co-ordinate to my vague net enquiry on Victorian apparel, this is probably a forenoon coat. I'm terming it as such to differentiate from some other green coat that Ciel wears. I'yard open to debate on the specific names of the different outfits considering I'm not a period practiced. Experience free to comment or email with corrections!

While I don't take whatsoever full-length references from the musical, I exercise have some good front closeups of the coat. Notice the fabric used. I'm going to gauge at a twill or something light even so durable; possibly wool. The neckband, cuffs, and trim are possiblyvelvet or velveteen with a very short pile and no shine. The colour is a lilliputian off because of the lights but it'due south a much more subdued color than in the anime. Much more realistic yet still visibly the same outfit. Think a hunter green.

The buttons are smoothen and shiny. Historically they might be made of silver; more than practically they're probably some sort of stainless steel. There should be eight to ten. Keep in mind that you lot will need a different amount of buttons based on your ain torso length so it's perfectly normal that there are more in the musical than in the anime.

The coat itself is definitely fitted without being tight. Information technology's been tailored and fits very well. This is the outfit that Ciel wears throughout the entirety of Episode 2: His Butler, Strongest. I feel that this is the ane that captures the idea of Ciel's costumes.

Ciel is not an adult; he wears knickers and a loose child'due south bow.  But he is not a child either. His clothes are dark; he wears the family jewelry; the cut of his coat is mature while still maintaining the childlike look.

The primal colours in this outfit are burgundy and black. At that place's a piddling brown (on his boots) and he wears a white shirt. I am not going to talk over the actual contract seal. CANE

Just to analyze – Ciel has no need for a cane, only a proper English language admirer would ofttimes conduct one for manner and as well for self-defense. While a prop cane is not likely to be able to cause harm, many real canes would have weights in the handles to be used as a club. The way Ciel carries the gold cane makes me remember this 1 is not weighted, though.

This other cane, with the skull handle, is much more than likely to be weighted, or merely be made out of a heavy fabric. I met a cosplayer once who had made the skull out of resin, which fabricated it quite heavy. I wouldn't recommend this unless you're really trying to be dangerous.
